LOCAL AUTHORITIES TESTIMONIALS
A paragraph here mentioning how road safety officers, online safeguarding experts and healthcare professionals have help vet all the books.
“Fantastic books very easy to read and understand. And a very fun and interactive way of learning. The books are excellent and focus on the key messages that we deliver and the service from start to finish is wonderful.”
“Having known the team at Serious Comedy for a number of years, we have used their books in schools to promote safer active travel with great effect. The children clearly enjoy the stories and, importantly, take away clear messages on how to stay safer. ”
“Serious Comedy are a great company to work with - fast, flexible and reliable. The books are funny and target audience friendly, but also really hit the mark in terms of sending out effective road safety, air quality and sustainable travel messages”
“Thank you for working effectively with us to develop and produce a brand new resource for Warwickshire Road Safety club, which ticks all of the boxes - funny, engaging and informative - and which the children love. The process from the very beginning to the very end was easy and enjoyable.”
“Safer Roads Humber has used a range of the Serious Comedy road safety resources. We find them fun, quirky, bright and appealing. They get across a serious road safety message in a fun and accessible way which ultimately is taken on board by children. We have used the ‘Look Up, Look Out’ booklet with year 5 and 6 children to reinforce safe crossing of the road. Whilst the ‘Animals can’t scoot or ride a bike’ series is fantastic for young children or those with special needs. Wonderful products.”
“We give ‘Why animals can’t ride scooters and you can’ as part of the scooter training package we conduct in Primary schools for Year 3 pupils throughout Thurrock. It’s a great resource to remind children of their fun day of training and having the book to take home encourages the parents/carers to carry on the safety messages.”
“We have been working with Serious Comedy for many years as a different way to engage with various target groups. Their books are great tools to use with some of the younger years and as presentation tools which can enable us to work on more than one level with our audiences.”
“I met Darren at the Education show and after talking to him and his team on the stand we worked together to develop an online safety resource in the form of a comedy booklet, aimed at primary aged children to bring to light the potential dangers of being online.
Working with Darren was such a pleasure, it was easy, straight-forward and lots of fun and I would highly recommend his services to anyone considering embarking on a project with him.”
““Serious comedy have been a pleasure to work with, their ‘out of the box’ thinking is refreshing and we look forward to working again with them in the future.””
